]]> http://brianblog.net/2011/01/happy-new-year/feed/ 0 2010 http://brianblog.net/2010/12/2010-2/ http://brianblog.net/2010/12/2010-2/#comments Fri, 31 Dec 2010 05:26:47 +0000 admin http://brianblog.net/?p=3216 Thank you to all my wonderful clients for making 2010 an amazing year!  It flew by — I feel like my first wedding of the year was just a few weeks ago.   Looking through my shoots brings back many memories…. getting knocked over by a horse carrying a groom, wrapping up a reception at 2am and waking up minutes later for a 7:30am getting ready and ceremony in the rain the following day, absolutely hilarious comedian grooms, tuning in to Car Talk while inching along the Long Island Expressway, shooting in temperatures so hot I couldn’t see through the sweat on the camera (nasty!), shooting in temperatures so cold I couldn’t feel the camera I was holding, making my periodic pilgrimage to the Nikon service center on Long Island, adopting a kitten on a whim after an engagement shoot, going way over the number of miles allotted on my lease, having a bride text to ask  if I might be interested in dating one of her bridesmaids :-P , … etc etc etc…… what a year!

Thanks again to all those I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and thank you to all those who read this blog from every continent around the world!  2011 is shaping up to be another great year with weddings from the Poconos all the way out to Shelter Island with everything in between.  I get started in less than 2 weeks!

It’s snowing underground! LOL
This poor guy spent 2.5 hours digging out this Scion xB… only to have a plow trap him back in!
